Timbrel grew up in Virginia, Oklahoma, and Florida, and met Jimbo during their senior year of high school.
After serving in Uruguay for more than a decade as part of the Alliance, Timbrel, Jimbo, and their four kids transitioned back to the United States at the end of 2023 to steward The Well House of Prayer in Toccoa, GA.
In 2008 and 2009, pain turned life upside down through stillbirth, the death of a sibling, and ensuing mental health struggles. After years of letting pain open her heart to Jesus, guided by prayer ministers, Timbrel now loves holding safe space for anyone who wants to connect with Jesus.
What we love about Timbrel: her name (for real! Who else do you know named “tambourine”?!), her gift to make others feel safe (so you can talk to her about anything), her willingness to dive in, and how funny she is.
Ask her about: overcoming the awkwardness of flag dancing, prayer labyrinths, and leading worship with the gift of mercy.
