Unexpected Support from the Boss
One of our Workplace Prayer clients spent some years as an executive at one of the Big Four. He sometimes got text messages from the CEO, a household name.
In early 2022, he wrote about one of his projects:

A fun praise around favor:
I was in a meeting today with five other people (one of which was my boss) to discuss a large facility that I manage. The meeting sort of sounded like: things aren’t working, here are all of the things not working, why can’t we get what we want.
My boss responded to all of this by saying that I am managing too many things and don’t have enough resources, so we need to get me more.
He then got me about half of a person’s time to support me.
This just made me smile and laugh on the inside because it could have gone entirely the other way, but my boss chose to champion me and grow my influence.

I love this testimony for a few reasons.
First, because it reminds me that God has his people everywhere … even in the Big Four.
Second, because it reminds me of Proverbs 21:1: “The king’s heart is like a stream of water directed by the LORD; he guides it wherever he pleases.”
Our client could have had a reprimand, and instead he had help.
Do it again, Lord! Thank you for favor in the workplace. Thank you for help. We ask for clear decisions and directions. Amen!
Start to make prayer beautiful.
